Coastal Health & Rehab was created as we felt the standard of healthcare was not anywhere near the level it should be. Too many people have had experiences with various health professionals where they have not been satisfied with the service they were given.
Our aim is to increase the standard of healthcare and provide long lasting symptom relief rather than the oversupply of short term results and quick fixes that flood the industry.
Darcy initially studied a Bachelor’s Degree of Human Movement (now known as Exercise & Sports Science) at the University of Ballarat before continuing to complete Graduate Diploma in Clinical Exercise Physiology at Griffith University. After working in the industry for a few years, Darcy became frustrated with the poor level of care and advice that was being delivered by various health professionals. Far too many patients had horror stories of poor treatment and care which just should not be the case.
This led Darcy to study a Masters in Sports and Exercise Medicine through the University of South Wales in the UK. Upon completion of this Darcy also completed further study of the FIFA Diploma of Football Medicine. This further study has helped Darcy to increase the level of care and advice he can provide his patients.
Darcy prides himself on his ability to find the root cause of people’s problems, rather than spending time treating symptoms like most health professionals do. This has allowed Darcy to achieve great patient outcomes and have a long lasting impact with his clients.
